These are two of my favorite pairs of shoes ever, both black and both super comfy for my wide feet.
Using shoe polish is one of the quickest and easiest ways to keep your shoes looking good and lasting a long time. Growing up, I often remember my mom polishing shoes. I am starting to wonder if shoe polishing is a lost art. So often I see shoes at thrift stores that with just a little buff and shine they would look great. I know that because the pair on the right were a thrift shop find that just needed some polish. When I have favorite shoes like these, I have trouble getting rid of them even when I probably should. A little polish and I am off.
Before you go, did you see yesterday’s blog hop and giveaway for Country Threads’ Back to Charm School or the giveaway for the quilting book, “Jelly Babies: Adorable Quilts from 2 1/2 Strips” by the Staff at That Patchwork Place?
Lots of polishing when DH was active duty. :-)
I do think it is a lost art. My son polishes his shoes, I’m proud to say.
