Wednesday is my day to show off my UFO progress. On Monday I showed you that I’d been busy on my Winston Ways quilt. Then it was this far along.
I got some time and got the center together. WOW…I’m gonna love this one.
Then it was time to iron.
I loved it so much I squeezed in extra time and started in on the borders…I’m fighting for a finish.
..but I didn’t make it. I have the black inner border on…I even got the checkered inner border on.
That’s when my luck ran out. I don’t have any blue fabric for the outer border. If I lived in a town with a quilt shop that was open after hours I’d have ran to the store to get some..but alas…I live a half hour from anywhere and I’m only free to go on the weekends…so I’m off to Whittles Fabrics to find a good border fabric.
A blog reader laughed that I had so many projects going. I am tickled that I don’t have to wait around and wait for the fabric to come. I have many projects ready for me to step in and and work on. For now I think it will be some more work on Fair and Square…
Are you still working on UFO’s? I sure hope so. I don’t want to be the only one!! I have been thinking about it and I think starting on the day that Bonnie Hunter puts out her info on the new mystery, I’m going to push myself and see how many quilts I can finish up before the mystery starts….I’d really like to see a few of these finished! In the meantime, I’m going to keep working on them as time allows.
