In June we attended a graduation for my hubby’s great nephew. Â My hubby’s sister had made an awesome hot turkey sandwich filling….honestly wonderful.
On Sunday our family was heading out to a family potluck picnic and I wanted to try something different so I had hubby call his sister and get the recipe.
I used chicken instead of turkey….it was really great. Â Here’s the recipe.
8 cups of chopped cooked chicken
1 lb of velveeta
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
1 cup mayo
Mix this all up and heat. Â I did mine in the crock pot. Â Serve on a bun.
Now I didn’t say this was healthy at all…just yummy. Â Isn’t it irritating when calories have to be everything?!
OK, you got me with the Velveeta. That is going in my potluck recipe book right this minute!
This does sound really good. I might have to take it to my quilt retreat next summer!
Think it’d work with canned chicken? It might be a good plan for dinners when we come flying into the house at the last minute.
