Try it on Tuesday: “Build Your Best Log Cabin”

6 Comments / By Jo / January 1, 2013

Recently I got an email from someone who works with Fons and Porter and asked if I would review their book, “Build Your Best Log Cabin”. I, of course, said, “SURE”.

I have only made one log cabin quilt, yet I am completely and totally in love with them. This book is filled with log cabin quilts in several variations. It was wonderful eye candy.

All are great. I asked if Fons and Porter would be willing to giveaway a copy to one of my readers. They said, “Well how about one for everyone!”

So…follow this link. You can get your own free copy. Now, isn’t that a great way to start the new year with a freebie for everyone??

Thank you! I love the charts for making the different log cabin variations in this book. I haven’t made a log cabin quilt yet–just a couple of log cabin blocks for sampler quilts. I definitely want to make one of these soon!

thank you. I have made a few log cabin blogs for a quilt from the jellyroll quilters blog not too long ago. It was my first attempt with a log cabin block but fell in love with it. I Hope to make another quilt using the log cabin blocks. Janita

Awesome! I love quilt patterns – especially when they’re free! Thanks for passing this one along!
