Last Wednesday we made a trip to the post office.
One quilt went to Quiltmaker and will be featured in the September/October issue. Â Two charity quilt went to Quilts for the South Quilt Drive…and two quilt including this one that I just finished up to send to Tisha.
You might remember Tisha. Â She sent me a big stack of crocheted dish cloths awhile back. Â Well she makes quilt for US service men and women who are serving overseas. Â She has a friend who is serving now and planned to send a bunch of quilts to that friends’ unit.
This one along with another I recently quilted are heading off overseas to warm the heart of the serviceman.
I feel so good to have all of these off and on their way meeting deadlines or doing good for others.
I am running a little low on quilt tops. Â I have two bigger ones and two smaller ones left. Â If anyone has some they’d like quilted and donated to charity, feel free to send them my way…I will quilt them and pass them on to worthy causes.
I plan to send some your way, soon. Joyce B.
This quilt is amazing. I love it. I will definitely be purchasing The Quiltmaker magazine. Thanks for sharing.
Jo, I have a top to send you if you e-mail me your address.
I will keep an eye out for the quiltmaker magazine! I have a question – I also have done several projects for Moda Bake Shop – I was hoping to work up to possibly designing something for a quilt magazine too – how did you go about getting a quilt featured in the magazine?! That is my goal someday soon!
I have several tops I would like to send you if you will e-mail your address. I have been cleaning out and organizing since I lost my job in January and I have way more tops than I will ever be able to afford to have quilted. I would love to donate them for charity as I had planned to do that if I got them quilted. I so appreciate those of you willing to do this to help others out.
