At the bottom of each blog post are three little picture boxes that will lead you back to an archived post. Just the other day, I saw one from my Perkiomen Daydreams quilt….I think this ranks up there of the quilts I am most proud of that we didn’t design.
You may recall that is the third one Kelli and I made. We made two previous to this one. You can read about them here.
Can you believe we have one more of these in the works?? It’s for Kelli. We gave two away..one to our son Buck and one to our daughter Kayla.
Anyway, about a month ago Karl said to me boy mom..I really like that quilt. If you ever make me another quilt, I want it to be that one.
Can you believe just last week Kalissa said to me, if Craig and I get married, I think we want a Perkiomen Daydreams quilt for our wedding quilt…REALLY???
I guess I am not done making these yet…I think I better start collection some yellow fabric. I know we were running low on yellow 1 1/2″ strips. One thing I do like about the quilt is that it’s really fun to throw a party and just mindlessly sew strip sets together. It worked great for me as a pinning project when we traveled too. Yep, I’m up for making another!!..but three more…..yes…I guess, how can a mom say no.
If you’re looking for the pattern you can find it in Bonnie Hunter’s book, Scraps and Shirttails book one.
