Back in March, Jason’s mom called me to let me know that she had an anniversary gift for Jason and I. She said it wasn’t anything big or special, but just a little something she found that she thought I might like.
Let me preface this with saying that I pretty much love everything that has anything to do with beagles. And I love to share my love of beagles with others. Whenever I find beagle greeting cards, I usually buy many of them and the use them as needed.
I ended up having to run up to the farm for something one day and she gave me the “not big or special” gift that she had gotten us. When I opened it up, this is what I found…
A PUPPY PILLOW!!!
While she may not have thought it wasn’t “big or special” it was pretty awesome to me!
And little Miss Puppycat has pretty much adopted it as her own. She used to always lay on the top of the couch and look out the window, but now I can almost always find her in the chair with her pillow.
The other day when I was walking down the stairs, I glanced over to the chair that the pillow resides in and was confused because I knew that I had just let Puppycat outside. Then I remembered that it was just the pillow…Silly Me!
It’s gifts like that that really make me smile!

Dare I say…..Puppycat looks lonely…..Maybe time for a friend…..or a trip to your Mom’s for a playdate!

I love beagles…we had one for 11 years. Her name was Buggs…because beagles chase bunnies! I did not name her but I loved her sooo much! Yours is adorable and looks a little like Buggs in the face.
