It was a slow week here….Not much sewing going on. Â I am still cutting my shirts up. Â I got my Accuquilt Go! cutter out and have been cutting strips.
It feels like this whole process is taking forever but in the process I almost have three quilts cut out! Â Being cutting is my least favorite part of quilting, this is good.
I stayed away from quilt shops and didn’t purchase any fabric. Â I managed to use up 11.5 yards of fabric in my completed Hopscotch, Butterscotch quilt.
Used this Week: Â Â 11.5 yards
Used year to Date: Â 77.5 Â yards
Added this Week: Â Â 0 yards
Added Year to Date: Â Â 26.5 yards
Net Used for 2011:  51 Yards  WOW!  That number is LOOKING GOOD!

51 yards in 2.5 months is quite an accomplishment!!
Good for you. Your Accuquilter looks like fun. I think your Hopscotch Butterscotch quilt turned out great. You’d never know there had been a problem. You probably saved countless other people from redoing theirs.
Keep up the good work! I also only count fabric as used when the project is finished. Lots of waiting, then big gains……
I had a slow quilting week as well Jo! Maybe it’s something in the air LOL!
I like your quilt – and good work on getting all those strips cut. That’s my hang-up on the shirt quilt – cutting all those shirts apart and then trimming them all up.Some day I’ll get to it!

Over 50 yards busted, yeah! Love your Butterscotch quilt, love the colors!
Oh your numbers are enviable. Wow. But more Wow (I know that is grammatically incorrect.) for you Butterscotch quilt. You are creating such beauties.
You’re doing great!
I am working on using up stash yardage and buying no fabric for april (even put a button on my blog to help my ‘stay strong’). I am your newest follower!
