Sunday Stash Report

Nothing exciting is happening here on the fabric front.  Most of my energy has been going towards graduation.  We have a son graduation so I’ve been busy cleaning, organizing, menu planning and attending classmate’s celebrations.  Ours party isn’t until next Sunday so I have a few more days.  I was in town picking up outdoor plants and ran into the local quilt shop.  I was hoping to find some plaids to use for sashing on a couple projects but..no plaids.  I ended up picking up this little bundle out of the scrap bin for $2.  I am just going to cut up the pieces and throw them in my scrap buckets to use up in scrap quilts.

FabricBundle

It’s all Civil War Reproduction Fabrics.  After opening in up, I discovered that it must have been a kit for a small project because all the pieces have labels on them like rabbit and background.  I am guessing that there is a yard worth of fabric here….so for my stash report….

So the official stash report is…

Used this Week:   0
Used year to Date:   109  yards

Added this Week:     1 yards
Added Year to Date:     46 yards

Net Used for 2011:   63 Yards of store bought fabric…2.5 yards of recycled fabric.

  2. Blessings on the graduation – quite a mile stone!
I am amazed that quilt stores are finally catching the scrap bug and starting to sell their scraps! It’s about time I say! :-)
