Kelli was home yesterday with her newest work….a quilt for Karl for graduation. I’ll be telling you more about this one in the future including nice full sized pictures, the pattern and all the details. She did such a wonderful job on it. Our school colors are red, white and black so it’s a nice tie in.
You’re probably wondering why her quilt is in my stash report….well, Kelli was short of fabric for the back, so we had to tap into my black and white fabric to piece that back so we could get it large enough.
That ended up taking a yard of my fabric so here’s the official count. 1 yard out….nothing in.
So the official stash report is…
Used this Week: 1 yard
Used year to Date: 109 yards
Added this Week: 0 yards
Added Year to Date: 45 yards
Net Used for 2011: 64 Yards of store bought fabric…2.5 yards of recycled fabric.
I haven’t gotten very much sewing done over the last week. We’ve been busy with Prom, doctor visits, and doing some house updates…I’ll tell you all about that over the next week. Oh….If you didn’t catch the quilt I made Karl for graduation, here it is.

Oh very pretty. I started a black and white quilt with red on Friday.
Beautiful quilt! I have been wanting to make a black, white, and red quilt. Hopefully next year!
Your numbers look great!
Nice – There’s just something about a black and white quilt with a little red thrown in that makes me sit up and take notice! Thanks for sharing it!
Very pretty quilt. Fabric out is fabric out, so good job on stash reduction!
Karl will love this quilt. Kelli did a great job piecing it. It’s great to share stashes! Sandi
Great quilt! Good numbers too. You put me to shame!
Very nice! Love the red border with the black and white blocks.
