Sunday Stash Report….

I caved.  I bought fabric.

Fabric

I am VERY happy with my purchases….3.5 yards to complete my UFO #4.  It’s the dark brown.  I think it will work well as a border print.

Star

The piece on the bottom of the pile is to finish UFO project #3….It’s to be the sashing….

On top of the pile are 10 fat quarters….all neutrals.  That’s 2.5 yards worth of fat quarters.  These were just to have..not for any special project.  I love ordering online from Whittles.  Each time I order I treat myself to a mystery fat quarter pack….who can resist 10 fat quarters for $12!   There are a couple in the bunch that I’m not head over heels for.  That’s okay.  They are already cut into strips and thrown in the appropriate scrap buckets.  I have been making so many scrap quilts lately that my buckets are running low.  If you haven’t been to Whittles online…you are missing out.  The fabric is often only $4.50 a yard!

I ended up with 10 yards of fabric in…

So the official stash report is…

Used this Week:    0 yards

Used year to Date:   107  yards
Added this Week:     10 yards
Added Year to Date:     45 yards

Net Used for 2011:   62 Yards

  1. I like the odds and ends pattern. What book is that in? Thank you for talking about Whittles. I have been trying to think of the name of it because I am looking for a piece of fabric I can’t find and wanted to check there. I have purchased from Whittles before and been very satified.

  2. Good purchases – I hit the button this week, but I wanted to try out the fabric from Connecting Threads, since that is in the $4.96-5.96 range. I’ll go check out Whittles.

  3. Even with your purchases you are still doing great in the stashbusting department!

Thanks for the Whittles recommendation. I’m always looking for fabric at good prices, especially neutrals!

I love the Labor Day Madness blocks. Might I ask what book that is in?

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
