Sunday Stash Report

Well fabric came into the house…but I’m not counting it in or out until it’s done.  Let me explain…

fabric

It’s the fabric for my upcoming Moda Bakeshop project.  This fabric is from the Collections for a Cause Faith.  It’s the softest, nicest fabric.

When doing a project for Moda Bake Shop, I never count the fabric until the project is featured, then that week I count it in and out.  Silly maybe, but that’s how I do it.  I have such trouble figuring yardage on precut fabric and this silly method works for me so I’m going with it.

The fabric is almost a completed quilt top and hopefully I’ll have it on the quilt machine by tonight…and hopefully we’ll have electricity so I can quilt it.  The weather predictions are all calling for an ice storm for my “neck of the woods”.

I did have fabric out this week.  If you didn’t see it earlier check out my Roll, Roll Cotton Ball quilt.

So for my stash report…

Used this Week:    12 yards
Used year to Date:   66.5  yards
Added this Week:     0 yards
Added Year to Date:     23.5 yards

Net Used for 2011:   42 Yards

If you haven’t seen that GE is sponsoring a giveaway, you can check that out here.   Come back tomorrow and I’ll give you a peak at what else I’m working on…no, not the Moda Bakeshop project, something else.

  1. Oh that fabric looks so yummy. I can’t wait to see what you have done with it. I love your Cotton Boll quilt. I read along but didn’t sew along. Looking at yours makes me wish maybe I had. Great numbers. Keep up the fantastic sewing.

  2. Did the two rolls come that way? I’ve got the two fabrics on the bottom. I’ve always liked them. I may have the top fabric, but I can’t see enough of it to tell.

  3. 12 YARDS!! Way to go! I like the Collections for a Cause line – I am curious to know what you are making for the Moda Bake Shop – I will visit back again to find out :)
