I’ve had a busy week. Â I got a quilt top finished, made a few projects with my Accuquilt Go! and finished this little beauty. Â I had a bare spot so I just pinned this to the wall auditioning the spot before I purchase a quilt rack.
This is a small quilt…36 x 36. Â It is part of the reproduction club through Country Threads that I belong to. Â Every other month, they send a new pattern along with 8 fat eighths. Â Â There are 216 flying geese in the quilt and they finish at 1″ x 2″. Â Many of the quilts that I have done over the past year use LOTS of small pieces. Â One of the reasons I make the quilts in the reproduction club is that they truly challenge me. Â A week or so ago, I gave a tip for making flying geese with striped material….this is the quilt I was working on at the time.
I was showing the quilt to my family saying that I would love to have a bed size quilt and they said oh make one….well, I’m that ambitious.
So for my stash report….

Jo, this is amazing – I don’t think I’ve tackled anything that small before. It is gorgeous! Thanks for sharing it!
It looks wonderful! I love using small pieces too……your pieces are really small :)
beautiful quilt. Don’t you love the GO. I have made two quilts with mine so far (bought it as a Christmas present to myself), the 3rd is in the works and a 4th quilt in the planning stage.
That is a gorgeous quilt, but it WOULD be an ambitious project to make a bed sized quilt with that pattern!
