Stitch Along Anyone: Stitcher’s Garden Strawberries

When I was at the Stitchery Nook after Market, Liz and I were talking. It has been a bit since I’ve done a stitch along. Liz said she’d be happy to put the supplies together if I wanted to host it. So I looked through the patterns I had and picked Stitcher’s Garden Berries.

They are SO CUTE!! Patricia bought the pattern and finishing trim for me as a gift. I loved them the moment I saw them. How could I not?? Strawberries, flowers, and it’s all a stitching theme, count me in!! I also really like finishing strawberries, so that is an extra bonus. I think they will be so fun with the tape measure trim…so fun.

They typically aren’t a lot of stitching. I remember saying that before and then being surprised…so don’t hold me to that.

I have also stitched Wisdom Berries. They were a previous stitch along. You can read about them HERE.

My plan is to stitch all three of of the Stitcher’s Garden Berries as I like them so much.

The pattern calls for 36-count linen. Of course, you can use any size you like…and these are Aida friendly. My personal plan is to stitch them on a scrap of linen I have here. My job today is to see what I need for thread and then get that together, too.

As always… stitch-alongs are pretty informal here. Feel free to get your supplies and start. It’s not a race, and there are no time limits. I did a quick look at the thread list and know I’ll be needing a couple, so I likely won’t start until the 15th or so.
