Do you ever feel like you keep singing the same song? I sure do. I plan to get that pile of quilts quilted over the weekend only to find my quilting machine isn’t working. I sang that song last week and now I’m singing it again. UGH! I never count my fabric out until I have a finished quilt. So there isn’t a lot to report….at least not a big number.
I was out rummage sale shopping and bought 5 shirts….10 cents each. I have caved to the pressure of making a Bonnie Hunter Scraps and Shirt Tales quilt. I don’t know when I’ll get around to it. But I thought the price was right on these shirts if I was ever going to give it a try.
I did manage to get some fabric out….2 yards worth. I’ve been making trivet kits to fill orders people have been placing for my bottle cap trivet.
My supply of red Civil War Reproduction fabrics was getting low so I bought 7 quarter yard cuts when I dropped my machine off to be repaired.
So the stash report is as follows:
In: 1 3/4 yards
Out: 2 yards
To see more stash reports, head on over to Patchwork Times…oh, come back tomorrow….I am anxious to show you what I’ve been working on. Remember those Cotton Candy Squares I was working on….
I’m looking foward to seeing your Cotton Candy Squares, it is a lovely pattern!
Even with machine problems you still used up more fabric than you brought in so it is all good. Once your machine gets humming you will start having finishes like crazy.
Are you already finished with cotton candy?!! I’ll be back to see tomorrow
I’m anxious to see your version of Judy’s Cotton Candy too. I’m currently working on Bonnie’s My Blue Heaven. Bonnie Blue Quilts is a great source for civil war reproduction fabrics. Check them out. They have some pretty good sales too.
