It’s been a super busy week around here.
Tuesday my quilt was featured on Moda Bake Shop….
Woo-who…that meant 8.5 yards in and 8.5 yards out. Â If you haven’t seen the post yet you might want to check it out. Â Fat Quarter shop is sponsoring a giveaway for a jelly roll from the fabric line Curio which is featured in the quilt. Â It’s just what you need to add to your stash.
Friday I had an article feature in Accuquilt’s newsletter. Â You can check out this post to read about that.
My daughter Kelli came home for a Saturday sewing day. Â She brought with these AWESOME quilt tops….
This is Kelli’s scrappy version of Bonnie Hunter’s My Blue Heaven pattern. Â I am loving it!! Â You can find the free pattern at Quiltville.
The next quilt top isn’t quite complete. Â It’s the center portion of Bonnie Hunter’s Fair and Square. Â It can be found in her book Scraps & Shirttails II: Continuing the Art of Quilting Green.
After seeing this quilt, it flew up higher on my to do list. Â Notice Gracie in the lower left hand corner. Â She got all upset that she wasn’t posing on the quilt. Â She started barking like crazy!
Finally we laid the quilt out on the chair and she jumped right up to pose.
She wouldn’t share the chair with Kelli’s beagle, Puppycat. Â I snapped a few pictures just to get Gracie to calm down. Â It was so funny. Â I shut the camera off and she was out to the kitchen to sit near the treat bowl….crazy dog….but back to the quilt. Â Isn’t it great!! Â I love the color she chose for the block centers. Â It’s just slightly pinkish…it makes the pinks in the string block POP. Â Did I say I love it….oh, I do!
But back to my stash report….…here’s my official numbers.
Used this Week:  8.5 yards red fabric for my nine patch quilt….4 yards gifted to Kelli.
Used year to Date: Â 167.5 Â yards
Added this Week: Â Â 10 yards
Added Year to Date: Â Â 142 yards
Gifted: Â 76 yards
Net Used for 2011:  25.5 Yards of store bought fabric…9.5 yards of recycled fabric….76 yards gifted.
…and to see more stash reports, head on over to Patchwork Times.
Wow! Love Kelli’s quilts! I am a Bonnie Hunter fan and have all her books. I have tagged the pages of all the quilts I want to make in her books and I will have to live to be 125. I love Kelli’s color selections on the Fair and Square especially – that one might have to move up in my leaders and enders queue.
WOWWWWW!! I love both of these quilts…do you have a birthday? Well Christmas IS coming!! Such a talented girl…wonder where she gets THAT from? haha

Love the pictures of the dogs! Beagles ROCK!
Both Bonnie inspired tops are just great. Why didn’t I think of doing My Blue Heaven in scraps?! Your Moda quilt is fun, too!
Congrats on the Moda Back Shop qullt. Very nice. Your daughter”s quilts are great too.
I like both quilts a lot. The graphic design of Fair and Square really makes it pop of the screen. Love the fabrics in your Curio Quilt.
