Stash Report and My Mailbox

Fun came via my mailbox yet again.

Ila struck with a bunch of scrap fabric again….I just love it.  I have them all out on my island right now.  I’ve been sneaking pieces out and adding them to my Pineapple Crazy blocks.  It’s fun.  I love other people scraps.  So many of the ones Ila send me are packaged as leftovers from projects.  I can’t help but wonder what the “mother” quilt actually looked like.  As I sew them into my projects I often wonder that.

Ila also sent some gluten free goodies for Kelli.  We all tried this wonderful stuff, Sahale Snacke Nut Blend Pecan-Cashew Nut Crisp with cinnamon, apples and peaches.  It is heavenly.  Kelli had to hide it as we all loved it!!  THANKS ILA!!

Anita Owen thought of me with a fun gift of quilting pins.  Aren’t they so cute?!  Thanks so much for thinking of me Anita.  I really appreciate the gift.

I got two notes in the mail this week too…both made me smile.  Thanks so much for thinking of  me ladies.  The older I get them more and more I appreciate letters and cards that are handwritten.  Knowing someone took the to write makes me feel special….THANKS!!

On the stash report side of things I was talking to Kelli and told her that we didn’t report the fabric that was used to make the quilts for the book and those quilts have since returned to our house.  We both decided we’d need a little time along with a pencil, paper and calculator to figure that all out…in the meantime, here’s the report….Look at those lonely zeros….
