Wa-who!!!
The UPS man came while I was writing blog posts. Â That surprised me. Â I didn’t think I had ordered anything. Â Hmm…. Â As tempting as it was to go see what it was, I forced myself to finish writing the blog post. Â Hmm…what could it be??
The box said Fat Quarter Shop. Â I didn’t think I had ordered anything…it was a big box too so I thought I would have remembered if I ordered something. Â Hmmm… Â I bet Kelli ordered something and forgot to tell me. Â Hmmm.
I opened and realized it was a recycled box. Â But who do I know who orders from the Fat Quarter Shop? Â This was curious.
I opened the bag inside and YES!! Â BINGO!!
There was a note from one of my blog reader, Melissa. Â She had asked me a bit ago if I would like some scraps…my answer is always YES PLEASE!!!
I love scraps and make good use of them. Â I’ll take anybody’s scraps any day.
The note in the box said, “I have a box with blues, yellows, pink and purples”. Â Oh WOW!! Â This is going to be LOTS of fun!! Â I can’t wait to start digging and sorting and petting fabric.
THANKS A MILLION Melissa. Â You made my day!!!
Here’s the official report.  I used some fabric up on a baby quilt I showed you on Friday.  Here’s a link if you missed it.
Used this Week: Â 4 yards
Used year to Date:  57 yards store bought +  36 Moda fabric + 5 yards of recycled fabric… To see other stash reports, check out Patchwork Times.
I’ll let our family and consumer science teacher know. They throw out a lot of fabric scraps when the kids sew.
You are SO lucky! That kind of package would totally make any day wonderful ! Lol, we quilters get so excited about fabric , don’t we?
Can’t wait to see what you make…I really enjoy your blog.
