OH wow..did we ever get fabric in!!
This first bunch is for a quilt we designed with large blocks. It’s Moda fabric from a line called Chance of Showers. We desperately need a name for the quilt but can’t show it to you yet. Any suggestions??
Next up is this stack. It’s for two different quilts….again Moda fabric. The red in green is for a Christmas quilt that will be featured in an upcoming issue of Quilty magazine. The other is for a Patriotic quilt that has a future publication date too. Kelli and I are both becoming really addicted to Bella Solids.
I saved my favorite stack for last. This is Moda’s new line Dottie. It’s all polka dots. WHO CAN”T SMILE WHEN YOU SEE THIS???
I can’t wait to cut into this stack but Kelli the slave driver says no…I have to sew a different quilt first. SHUCKS!! In all reality I think she just wants to get me bogged down in a different quilt so she can sew with the polka dots. If that’s true, I’m going to take that as a challenge and fly through sewing one of the other quilts.
That’s what’s in…so what’s out?? Friday I showed you our prodigal quilt that returned. If you missed it you can see it here. I also missed last week’s stash report due to the wedding and I didn’t add in the fabric for the double wedding ring quilt.
Used this Week: 23 yards
Used year to Date: 42 yards store bought + 23 Moda fabric + 5 yards of recycled fabric…
Today I am hooking up with Patchwork Times.
Puddle Duck
Agree with you on the Bella solids. I added quite a few of those FQs this week while shopping around Pigeon Forge Mountain QuiltFest. I have a plan for them, so they won’t sit on my shelf very long!
I was going to suggest Puddles, but I like Puddle Duck too.
Playing in the Rain,
How about “Hint of Spring” for that first batch of fabrics? Isn’t that about where we all are right now?
April Showers
I was thinking Sunshine after the Rain….
Cloudy with a chance of showers
Wow, love that first batch of fabrics from Moda! I also thought April Showers, but I like all the other ideas too! Can’t wait to see your projects!
Rain or Shine? I am so proud of you all keeping up with this hectic schedule.
