I bought some fabric…but at least I have fabric out to report too.
I bought this…
Remember my new obsession with Yoko Saito books?? Â Well I bought more fabric in hopes on one day tackling some of the projects. Â These were ordered from Homestead Hearth. Â If you hit their sale section they have some awesome stuff. Â These were 10 fat quarters for $14.50.
The also have remenant bags. Â I bought this one.
Scraps make the best scrappy quilts and I like my own things scrappy so how could I resist??
I did use some fabric this week…if you want to see the finished quilt, check it out here.  I also gave some fabric to my sister in law for her quilt that you can see here.
Here’s the stash report numbers.
Used this Week: Â 15 yards
Used year to Date:  0 yards store bought +  15 Moda fabric + 5 yards of recycled fabric…
Today I am hooking up with Patchwork Times.
I used the same fabrics in a Wayne & Gordy kit last year! They looked great in the beginning but I was a bit disappointed when I completed it. It just looked kind of blah. The top needed something to make it pop! When I get around to quilting it, it definitely be leaving my house. LOL!
I really like your star quilt. Have fun with your scraps and fat quarters!
Just saw some of Yoko Saito’s quilts on the blog bytaniwa.blogspot.com. Taniwa went to the Tokyo quilt show. She lives in Japan. Very beautiful Yoko’s quilts! Joyce B. in the Ozark Mountains.
