Okay so I bought a little more…fabric that is.
It’s a little more fabric to work on a Yoko Saniato project. Â It’s so hard when I am a scrappy quilt girl to add another type of fabric. Â I have to have enough to make it scrappy right??? Â Honestly, I think that’s one of the reasons I work with Civil War fabrics so much. Â They all blend and work together…or I use Moda fabric lines because again, they all blend and work together.
Well I needed enough to blend and work together so I bought a few cuts more. Â It actually looks like more than it is…it’s 1/8 yard and fat quarters all from Willow Lane Quilting Company. Â I was pleasantly surprised that one of the local quilt shops, Material Magic, had some taupes that I hope to be checking out too. Â For now, these are all staying in a tote together waiting for me to get some time to sew with them. Â Honestly, I am keeping this project for after we move. Â I want to stay focused on deadline projects and UFO’s for now…but in the mean time, I’m collecting fabric.
Used this Week: Â 0 yards store bought
Used year to Date:  187 yards store bought +  48.5 Moda fabric + 62.5 yards of recycled fabric…

I can’t wait to see what you do with your new treasures. I’m a taupey girl, myself. I find those hues very calming to work with.
I am also collecting these fabrics…so I am REALLY looking forward to see what you are making! I bought my bundle an a quilter’s estate sale…my heart almost stopped when I saw them…which would have made me a dead quilter at a dead quilter’s estate sale…hmmm!! Now there’s a thought….
