We did a little oops. We designed one of our deadline quilts with a square in a square block. We intended to make them without using the bonus triangle method and figured the yardage that way. We ordered the fabric. It came and we started sewing. AH!!!!! It wasn’t working the best and decided to go back to the method that gives us bonus triangles. That meant we were short of fabric.
Moda to the rescue!!!!!!!!! They sent more than enough fabric to cover our mathematical flub.
While sewing the quilt top, we ended up all of these bonus triangles. I have a plan for them and can’t wait to implement it. Don’t you love the fabric line?? It’s from Moda by Bonnie and Camille and is called Scrumptious. It was a joy to work with the fabric…it’s such a beautiful melding of colors.
I did finish up a quilt this week so I did have some yardage out. If you missed it, you can see it here.
Here’s the stash report….
Used this Week: 6 store bought
Used year to Date: 144.5 yards store bought + 40.5 Moda fabric + 38.5 yards of recycled fabric…
