I didn’t think I would have very much to report this week. Â It’s hard when we are sewing on projects that we can’t talk much about yet.
We did finish up this baby quilt. Â You can read about it more here if you missed it.
That quilt didn’t use much of my fabric…only about a yard for the borders and binding.
I didn’t think I was going to have any fabric to report in..then Kelli came on Saturday and brought me both of these boxes of half square triangles. Â They are left overs from projects she has been sewing on lately.
The fabric with the aqua is from a Moda’s upcoming fabric line Wren’s Friends. Â It’s a really cute fabric line and will be featured in one of the deadline quilts Kelli has been sewing on…It looks like I get to play with the half square triangles that are left over.
The other box is from another deadline quilt Kelli and I both have been sewing on. Â The pieces of this one are much smaller so their are MANY more half square triangles.
These two boxes will be my phone call work. Â If the kids call and want to chat on the phone, I’ll be pressing or trimming these squares up. Â I don’t have plans for the yet..but as I work with them, something will come to me.
Here’s the stash report….
Used this Week: Â 1 store bought
Used year to Date:  145.5 yards store bought +  40.5 Moda fabric + 39.5 yards of recycled fabric…
