Stash Report

Today’s stash report is brought to you by my blog reader, Ila.

Ila was at it again….treating me and Ruby with goodies.  Here’s what she sent via Fed Ex.

A treat for Ruby that she absolutely loves…

Ruby-toy

Isn’t it neat??  The best part is that the squeakers can be replaced.  Her “eyebrows” are almost gone.

Kong-Frog

She also sent me a box of goodies!!  Fabric scraps…my favorite!!  I love all these little triangles.  They just make my heart sing.   If they are bright, they will go into the Pineapple Crazy quilt….

If they are dark, they will go into the Maverick Star piles.  Little triangles are my favorite!!

All these other goodies…They’ll go in the proper sized scrap box.  I am betting many of these will make their way into the Spool quilt.

There was another little bag that I immediately sorted into the string box.  I would take a fun box of scraps over yardage any day…

Thanks Ila for the Christmas in July!!  I finished my Perkiomen Daydreams quilt so that used up a HUGE chunk of fabric.  You can see it here.

Here’s the stash report….

Used this Week:   21 store bought

Used year to Date:  121.5 yards store bought +  40.5 Moda fabric + 38.5 yards of recycled fabric…

We have a giveaway going on too.

  1. I know this sounds crazy but those replacement squeekers work in a baby quilt too. Even holds up to laundry. I made a really cute I spy, touch and feel quilt with one for baby tummy time. Placed the squeeker in the block with a duck. Just remember to quilt around it when longarming, no edge to edge!
