Stash Report

I got my hair cut last week in Cresco, Iowa and stopped at the quilt shop, Quilter’s Garden, while I was there.  I still had my UFO Cactus Patch on my mind and thought I would look for fabric.

I decided to stick with the gold check and found other fabrics to work with it.  I feel lots better about the project and even got a few blocks sewn.

While I was there I found this fabric.

Isn’t it adorable?!?!  I love it.

I bought enough so I have two sets of alphabet letters.  I think I will eventually cut the letters apart…add some scrappy stars to mix with the pieces and make baby quilts.  I don’t know when I will get to it and I don’t even’s just that cute that I couldn’t pass it up.

I know some of you will be asking for info on the fabric.  Katie has more of the fabric in the shop…you can contact her through her Facebook page.

I did use some fabric this week.  I used a little for binding West, Texas quilts.  I also finished my Hip to Be Square quilt that you can see here.

Used this Week:   2 yards store bought + 5 yards recycled

Used year to Date:  76.5 yards  +  28.5 Moda fabric + 29.5 yards of recycled fabric…

  1. I would love to order some of the alphabet fabric but having trouble getting the link to work. I’ve been looking for something to use for a baby’s fabric book. This would be perfect! Thanks!
