Fabric movement happened! I love that.
I was at the thrift store and picked up a couple pieces of fabric.
There are 4 yards  worth here.  The bottom piece is only 36″ wide so it’s vintage.  I thought it would make a cute back to baby boy quilt.
I also finished my tumbler quilt. If you missed it you can see it here.
Here’s the official report.
Used this Week: Â 12.5 yards
Used year to Date:  57.5 yards  +  16.5 Moda fabric + 6 yards of recycled fabric…

Lucky you. I think most people are onto us when looking for fabric in the thrift shops. I can never find anything. But, I do find great men’s shirts though! :-)
Love that green and white stripe with the squiggles! That will make a great backing fabric for any kind of a quilt, especially for a little boy – so much movement in it. And all for $1.50 – what a bargain.
SCORE on the fabrics! I love them both, especially the green and black. I love thrift stores. I found a large 45* triangle ruler yesterday for 65cents!
Good idea , I had not thought of looking for supplies
at thrift stores.. I am going to check that one out
Good score. for you
Wow! Those were great finds. Usually when I check at thrift stores, everything has already been snapped up. Love the bottom fabric.
Lucky you! The thrift stores around here don’t sell fabric. In fact Goodwill won’t even take it. So I resort to buying clothes when I need some . Great tumbler quilt, Jo!
The vintage fabric is great! I always look for fabric at thrift stores (op shops in Australia!) and have had some treasures come home with me periodically!
