Stash Report

I needed to get out of the house.  After a bit I was stir crazy.  I’m okay to be in public…just not okay to have children in my lap.  So what I do I do?

THRIFT.

I didn’t find a lot but I did find this…

fabric5fabric!!

Yes, I know I didn’t really NEED more fabric….but who can resist?

All of it is quilt shop quality fabric.  All of it was 50 cents per cut.  All of the cuts are a minimum of 3/4 of a yard.

I’m just not good at saying no.

I am extra excited about finding the pile of neutrals.  There were five different cuts.  One of them is about two yards worth.

I know a couple of them are going right into the Binky Patrol fabric box.  I’ve started a box to go to them. Some prints that are larger and are super kiddish are headed directly to the box.

I’ve been on a roll of making darker Civil War type quilts lately.  From the looks of this haul I really should make a bright quilt.

    Hi Jo,

I don’t know if this is simple or complicated to consider. I will pose it anyway. Once we expand a post to read it all and are finished, there is no opportunity to advance to the next or previous post. We need to go “home” and scroll down. Is adding that option at the base of a post possible for you? I know NOTHING about websites or building so if this is a no-go I totally understand. Thank you in advance for reading this.

      Hi Ellen.
I can see if that’s the way you’ve been doing it that I would be frustrated as well. I often look at the blog myself and deal with Bonnie Hunter’s blog too as she has the same format. I don’t do what you’ve been doing. For me, reading from a desk top or my laptop, I simply hit the back button. It takes me directly to where I was when I hit the “read more” button. Could you try that??

Jo ~ I’m so glad to read that you were out & about! Instead of commenting that you really didn’t NEED more fabric I think you should pat yourself on the back and say “What a lucky find!” Enjoy!!

It’s really a service to buy thrifted fabric- shouldn’t count against you at all!! Glad you were able to get out for a while.
