I recently got a sweet note from Joyce. Â She was wondering if I would use some felt. Â It just so happens that at the time I was working on my Mr. Potato Head play set for the childcare kids and have plans to make a few other felt projects for the kids so I said YES!
Well the box came along with other goodies.
Goodies for charity quilts and a couple pieces of Christmas fabric that I am going to sneak into my Christmas quilt.
It’s so nice to have others who are willing to help with charity quilts by providing supplies needed to complete them. Â The striped material will be sewn together for a backing.
I love that the felt came…there’s lots. Â Now I am off to look for a something else the kids will enjoy. Â I did find a pattern for a finger puppet nativity set that I think I might try to get made before Christmas.

Hi Jo, I saw an idea on Facebook last month that my daughter did this year. She made a Christmas tree out of felt that she hung on the wall. Then made ornaments out of felt. The kids can decorate and move things around whenever they want too. The kids can also help make decorations.
