Stash Report….

Lots is going on here today.  You can see the Quilt Square Quilt Along reveal and prizes here and the parade here.
Onto my stash report:
It’s bad news and good news all together in my Stash Report numbers.  Bad news first…I fell off the deep end and bought LOTS of fabric….See?

32 yards of fabric or so…I just told the girls at Country Threads I would take whatever left on the bolts.  At $5 a yard, how can I go wrong?

Now the good news….I can back LOTS of quilts with all of this including Kelli’s latest finish that we are sending out to the Colorado Wild Fire Victims.

While I was at Country Threads and writing a check anyway, I picked up this wool pattern.  Isn’t is AMAZING??  The picture isn’t the best as it was hanging on the slant of the ceiling.  If you follow this link over to Country Threads’ site, you can see a better picture of it.

The gals told me Jan made the sample while she was laid up.  What a perfect project for someone under the weather…and oh. she did a great job!  Who knows when I’ll get to this…I just know I wanted it!

I also had fabric in and out with my Moda Bake Shop quilt that you can see here.  There’s a giveaway with that too!

Here are my official numbers….

Used this Week:   .5  yards

Used year to Date:   58  yards

Added this Week:   32 yards
Added Year to Date:    83 yards (25 from Moda)

Net Used for 2012:  -25 Yards of store bought fabric…14 yards of recycled fabric…

  1. I took a plunge in my stash this past week too. Like you I have plans to use up everything! Sometimes you just have to do it! Lot’s of goregous projects come out of your home. Sandi

  2. Love Kelli’s quilt. I have been looking for a pink quilt inspiration for my nieces wedding quilt. Would you mind sharing what the pattern is and where I could find it. Thanks!

  3. I agree that Kelli’s quilt is lovely! It should bring some comfort to a fire-ravaged family.
But your quilt, Peaks & Valley’s is lovely too! I hope to make one but am unsure of how many FQ’s are in their bundle? God, do I really need 5 yards of the background Marbles? That seems like a lot to me.
