This stash report is courtesy of Rosemarie R. Â I got a fun little package in the mail and when I felt it, it was squishy. Â That make me think scraps and indeed I was right!
Rosemarie was afraid that the scraps were too small for my Pineapple Crazy blocks but they were just the perfect size! Â Most of them went immediately into my scrap organizer for the blocks. Â I’ll even admit a few were already sewn into the blocks.
Rosemarie asked how big the blocks were and what sizes I like. Â Anything that’s 1 1/4″ or bigger is perfect.
I love all triangles too. Â They work great when working on the center of the blocks and on the corners. Â I use mostly triangles until I get to the two outer edges.
The blocks are small finishing at 5″ I think.
Well Rosemarie, you made my day and I’m very happy to add your bit of scraps into my quilt. Â It makes me smile as I work to know that someone thought of me in a very special way.
Today I’m hooking up with Patchwork Times.
I’m so glad you could use the scraps, I bet they found lots of friends to hang out with. Everyone needs new friends!
Great friend to give you scraps!
I’d been wondering the same thing. I tend to work with things 1-1/2″ or bigger but I hold onto everything 3/4″ up to that in a separate bag. Which has expanded to 2 separate bags. Just can’t get myself to throw them away because they can be useful!
