Stash Report

Sadly…my stash is still hidden in boxes.  It makes me a little sad but I have blocked off two hours today that are being dedicated to the quilting room.  It’s far from enough time to get it in ship-shape but hey, at this point, I’ll take what I can get.

I did do a little stash enhancement though…or rather I should say scrap enhancement.  I was thrifting and wasn’t in the market at all for fabric.  In fact, for the most part, I’ve tried to avoid it.  Right now there is no sewing time to be had so looking at fabric, patterns and like is a little more depressing than uplifting.  No worries though.  Given a little more time, that too will change.

Could you have passed this up??  They were $1.50 a bag.

As a kid I always loved those grab bags they used to have.  For me, these are just like that only I get at least a little sneak peak as I can at least see that it’s cotton fabric.

I didn’t have any time to be messing with fabric, but once home I couldn’t resist.  It was only about 10 minutes worth of time but…ah…fabric petting!  It’s been far to long!!

There were lots of goodies in the bag including some finished blocks.  I don’t know where they will land, but somewhere…someday.  I really can’t wait for a day when a lot of fabric petting will happen..and maybe even possibly some sewing machine time!
Just to make the stash report official, here’s the stats.

Used this week… 0 yards.

Used to date…  0 yards.

Check out Patchwork Times for more stash reports.  Hopefully someone there has a little more excitement going on in their sewing room.

Ah Jo! Not too long now and you might be able to spend a whole day in your sewing room! That will be your reward for being so awesome xxxx

I have been petting fabric and sewing all weekend,,I do believe I have done enough for you and I both, and it won’t be long and you will be at it again.
When you have the time could you do a tutorial on the Easy Angle Ruler, I am not getting the hang of this baby so more petting than sewing when it comes to angles

Never mind about the Easy Angle Ruler Tut, I just found yours and by George I think I may have it. I will just keep your site up in case I slip up and forget.
