I know I said no more deadline sewing but who can resist this??
It’s a new Moda line coming out in April called Fire and Ice. Â I love it and can’t wait to cut into it. Â Neither Kelli or I have made many quilts with batiks for it’s always fun to work with something new.
Kelli’s coming and we’re power sewing the project so we can get it out in a week. Â I already have the backing ready and loaded on the frame….that’s how fast of a deadline we’re chasing. Â Lucky for us, it’s an easy design that we can sew up quickly.
With all the computer time I’ve been putting in lately I have to say some machine time with Kelli, even though it’s for a deadline project, will be a welcome change.
Used this Week: 31 Â yards
Used year to Date:  70 yards store bought +  164 gifted fabric + 68 yards of recycled/thrifted fabric…

Hey Jo,
I am not very computer savvy and cannot see what I can’t resist. Did you do a stash report today as I don’t see that either? Can you help?
the pic isn’t working for me – guess I need to go to united notions website and see it, love the name of the fabric line!
I want to let you know how excited I get when there is a post in my in box. I love your stories and am as excited as you are to be moving into your new house. It’s going to be a warm wonderful home!
Thanks for being my email friend
I guess a bunch of us can’t see the picture. Must be a hiccup somewhere, lol.
Sure we will see it eventually.
I thought it was me but since I am not the only one that can’t see the fabric, I might be alright.
I can’t see the picture either but love the jelly Roll colors since my favorite colors are BLK/RED, to be honest I love looking and reading about your new home! How I envie ! I know envie is a sin but goodness to see your dream come true via your pictures & posts just thrills me. I have always wanted to live in the country and have just a few stock animals but my health is declining and I know I couldn’t take care of everything so I am living vicariously through you and your posts. Don’t get me wrong I also love the quilts you and your daughter make also. For me it’s me and one of my grand daughters that are learning to quilt ourselves. Thank you for your uplifting posts!
