Earlier in the week Kelli called me and said, “Hey Mom-that fabric store in Monona is having a sale-15% off. Let’s go see if they have some wool for rug hooking.” We did and they did. I’d take a picture of all that show you but it’s in the washing machine shrinking…I’ll save that for next week’s report.
Anyway, while we were there I decided to try to collect some more white based printed fabrics.
I just love these and honestly could use about two more stacks like this. I have a couple quilts in mind and just seem to have trouble finding white printed fabric like these. I love the small little prints. My new goal is collect these…maybe even by the dozens although I have more than a dozen here.
Fabric is really cheap there-often $5 a yard or less. I just got 1/2 yard cuts. It’s a good start on what I’m hoping to collect. Little by little, I’ll get there.
I didn’t have fabric out this week. Don’t think that means we weren’t sewing…I was!!
I did finish up a little flag pincushion that you can see here if you missed. That was a wool project though so no fabric counted out.
Used this Week: 0 yards
Used year to Date: 31 yards store bought + 118 Moda and gifted fabric + 62 yards of recycled/thrifted fabric…

Oh Jo I think you have been so extraordinarily patient as far as your new home goes. I read all your blogs and gather inspiration for accomplishing the few things I struggle to get done. You’re amazing!
What kind of wool fabric are you seeking?
