I got new fabric in…not that I need anymore. Â I have about 10 irons in the fire as it is but look. Â Who could resist this??
Some time ago Kelli and I visited LouAnn’s quilt shop in Oelwein, Iowa.  She had fabric from a vendor that we had not heard of…Art Gallery Fabrics.  We were immediately in love.  The fabric is so amazing.  On the selvage it says, “Feel the Difference”.
Let me tell you…there is a difference. Â I LOVE that fabric. Â It is so soft and cozy feeling. Â Honestly it feels like a quilt that I’ve had for five years and has been washed and loved. Â I can’t put in to words how much I love the feel and the colors of the fabrics.
I ended up designing a quilt around one of their fabric lines, Emma Grace. Â That’s what you see here. Â Oh I love the fabrics more in person than from seeing them on the computer swatches. Â I love the gray tones in the line…oh who am I kidding, I love them all. Â I did pick a few very favorites. Â They are shown below.
YUM!! Â I can’t wait to start cutting into these guys. Â Aren’t they going to make an awesome quilt. Â I sure think so.
We did have a finished quilt this week. It’s a very cute baby quilt and has a free pattern to go with it. Â You can see it here.
So here’s the stash report…
Used this Week: Â 6 yard
Used year to Date:  29 yards store
You are lucky to have shops around you. We live in NW Illinois and the closest one is 45 miles away. I like to feel fabric as this line suggests. Looks like you will have fun with it. Chris
I’ve never seen this fabric before. I like the grays. Have a great week!
