There is not much to report on the ins and outs…nothing in. Â Well, at least at the time I am writing this nothing is in. Â Buy the time you read this, there might be something in. Â Kelli and I are stopping at JoAnn Fabrics today and I’m guessing something might jump in the cart.
I did go through and pulled out a bunch of older precuts I have. Â My goal is to use them up. Â I love precuts but don’t just want them to be out for decoration I want to use these up and buy some new ones… Here’s my stack of charm packs.
We have plans for these two but can’t quite share them yet. Â They will be a free pattern eventually here on the blog.
For fabric out I did use up just a bit of fabric on the binding and backing for the charity quilt. Â If you missed it you can see it here.
Here’s the official report.
Used this Week: Â 5 yards
Used year to Date:  18 yards store bought +  90 Moda and gifted fabric + 34 yards of recycled/thrifted fabric…
Jo,
I found your site by searching solutions for thread breakage for Pfaff Grand quilter. I have had it a year, and have had some problems. I wanted to thank you for the tip about raising the front bars. I have a slightly different frame, and mine actually has an adjustment to raise the front bar. I was breaking the thread every n I raise the back, I have to raise the front. It completely makes sense. Thanks for your site and tips.
What a wonderful easy charity quilt. Think I will have to make one. Love your precuts. Will be waiting to see what you make from these.
Hugs
