Squeezing in a Project

Earlier in the month I got my Country Threads Reproduction Club pattern and fabric.  I opened it but didn’t really get a chance to read the pattern and check it out as I was busy getting ready for Thanksgiving.  Sunday night while lying in bed I finally got it out and looked at it…I LOVE the new pattern.  I am super excited because it uses 1.5″ half square triangles….Yep…they finish at 1″.  I love little.

I have a whole bunch of those saved from making bonus triangles… about 275, ready to go and more that can be trimmed.  After doing the math, I think I’ll need about  300.  I am taking a bit of time this afternoon to cut the remaining pieces.  Then I am going to squeeze in a bit of time here and there to work on it.  It’s been awhile since I made a small wall hanging with lots of pieces.  I can’t wait.

Country Threads has a fun Reproduction Club that I have enjoyed…I’ve made this quilt, this quilt and this quilt.  You can find out more about it on their website.

  1. Sweet pattern! Too funny that I’m reading you have all those 1/2 sq triangles from other projects because the last few days I’ve been using my basket full to make smaller projects and I swear Jo, those things multiply at night when we are sleeping!!!
