I’m on a mission. I want to use up as many groceries as possible before we move. No…I don’t want to over eat. I just want to use what I have before buying more.
Last Saturday when I bought my “pampering” basket at the Humane Society’s silent auction there were a bread stick included in the box. That got me thinking of dips and that got me thinking about the cans of artichoke I had on my pantry shelves….and the next thing I knew I was looking up recipes for Spinach Artichoke Dip.
Don’t mind the picture…the vultures family got to it before I could make it cute.
It was wonderful-SUPER easy and I highly recommend it. Here’s a link to the recipe. The only think I modified was that I didn’t have frozen spinach. I had fresh and cooked it.
Kelli ended up taking part of it to her in-laws and said it was a hit there too. We’ll definitely be making this again.
This sounds good and easy! I saw a recipe once using this dip and then turning it into soup by adding a carton of chicken broth, precooked chicken breast strips, and rice. I think I will be making this in the not too distance future…
