Special Delivery and a Giveaway

I love it when the UPS man comes….especially when he brings a package like this!

AccuquiltGoDies

New Go! dies for me…8 new dies.  three strip dies and the dies you see.  I love new toys.  Making room for these dies was one of the reasons I have been cleaning my sewing room…which is prompting me to have some “I’m cleaning my sewing room giveaways”.

Yesterday’s winner is…..

Now for  today’s “I’m cleaning my sewing room” giveaway…this is what is up for grabs.

Giveaway

This is Kim Schaeffer’s book Flowering Quilts.  The pattern is very cute.  It’s a pillowcase that you can embroider.  The saying on it says, “The cutest cheerleader sleeps here.”  I bought over the summer thinking my daughter would go out for cheerleading in the fall but she changed her mind….so it’s going to go.  Just like yesterday’s giveaway, it only lasts for one day….Stop back tomorrow and I’ll pick a winner.

If you are interested in any of these items, just leave a comment.  I will continue to have giveaways over the next week or two so keep stopping by.

My mind is mulling over my new dies….hmm….I just can’t stop thinking about new projects!

  1. I have a granddaughter who is a cheerleader. The pillowcase would be a wonderful idea for her on her birthday Feb. 9!!! I need to clean my sewing room as well — and finish lots of WIPS!!!!!!

  2. Trash to Treasure – I would treasure to have the Cheerleading embroidery – my granddaughter just started cheering (and only 8) too cute for pillow cases.

  3. Isn’t it nice to have your sewing area all cleaned up and ready to start new things? I wish mine were that way – it’s a work in progress… some day I’ll get there. Have fun with your new dies.

  4. Jo – I want to say thank you for posting your you tube videos on the accuquilt. I received mine for Christmas along with a few dies but I was so hesitant to start cutting fabic until I watched your videos. You were straight and to the point and held my interest to watch it all the way through. It sure is addicting once you start cutting into the fabric. What an absolute joy. I ordered a bunch more dies and can’t wait for future designs. Thanks again – YOU ARE MY HERO!

  5. I love the go dies, they cut beautiful and with sore hands it’s easier for me to cut fabric for quilting. I also have to try your banana recipe, yum yum.
