Over the weekend I made pie….I quick snapped a picture of the Sour Cream Blueberry Pie before it was gone! Â It was WONDERFUL!
Here’s the recipe:
1 egg
3/4 cup white sugar
2 tablespoons flour
1 cup sour cream
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups blueberries
3 tablespoons flour
1 1/2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup chopped nuts
Mix first six ingredients well. Add fruit and pour into an unbaked pie shell. Bake 25 minutes at 400 degrees. Combine remaining ingredients and mix until crumbly. Take pie from oven. Add crumbs. Bake 15 minutes more.
I am hoping to get back to the grocery store and get a few packs of blueberries while they are still on sale…actually, I think I even care if they are on sale. Â This pie was just that good!
That sounds so yummy! I bought blackberries and sour cream for it before we went to the park today. :-)
Now this sounds really good, I just need the blueberries here to ripen.
OMGosh! I got a fruit basket for Christmas with 2 Cups of blueberries. I was looking through your blog for something else (eclairs – which I didn’t find) and saw this pie. I didn’t have enough sour cream so I used sour cream and yogurt. This is soooooo good. My favorite way to use blueberries now. I can’t wait until things open up and I can take this with me to a get together. Thank you for sharing!
