Monday night I went up to the quilt guild in Cresco Iowa to speak. My job was to inspire them all to come to a sit and sew class on Saturday that I will be teaching there.
Instead they inspired me with their great show and tell projects.
This is my cousin Gladie showing off her great work. Â Just as I snapped the picture, she was saying how everyone would recognize that we are cousins as we both have chubby cheeks!!
Here are projects form more of the guild members.
This stack and whack made with batiks caught my eye. Â Helen who created it, promised me some batik crumbs when I come back. Â I really want to make a batik crumb quilt but have few scraps to even start.
The gal showing off this quilt made it with her  mother who still sews in older age.  I sure hope I can sew til the day I die.
I did recognize this quilt as “Bodacious”. Â It’s a Bonnie Hunter quilt and can be found in Adventures with Leaders & Enders: Make More Quilts in Less Time!
The back was SO-SO neat!!
The was a long term UFO…now it’s crossed off the list.
See….great projects!! Â I can’t wait to go and sew with them on Saturday.
That’s some lovely show and tell. There’s nothing wrong with chubby cheeks. I have them too! LOL!
How fun! Some wonderful projects in there!
Cresco rocks! Have a great time on Saturday.
thanks for sharing these!
What a talented bunch of ladies! Wish I loved closer. I would love to join in, too.
