Well on the home front here..I have good news and bad news (well not really bad news). Â I got my Spoolin’ Around quilt further along but I didn’t quite get it finished.
I did get the binding made and sewn down. Â I didn’t get the binding flipped over and sewn…not a tragedy but not quite what I had hoped for. Â Oh well. Â Things happen that way sometimes.
I am hoping to get it finished tonight though. Â Things have been coming together that will (I think) allow me to finish it tonight. Â I really only need to squeeze in about 40 minutes of time. Â Watch for a post on Friday and hopefully I’ll have it finished along with time to photograph and write a blog post about.
Barbara sent me a picture of her tumbler quilt that she has made some progress on…
I love the quilt but I also want some of the pins she used for basting. Â Anyone know what they are called??
So how are you doing on your project?? Â Did you make any progress over this short quick challenge time??
Watch the blog over the weekend…we’re hoping to be have some time to blog and keep you up on what’s happening at the retreat. We know so many of you wanted to come!! We are so sorry you couldn’t join us.
Hello, those pins look like they have a cover; they might be similar to those:

About your quilt: you’re on the home stretch, the end is in sight! You’ll get there!
Looking forward to pictures from the retreat.
I didn’t get to work on mine any more than last weeks update. But, it’s all good because I have a good excuse! I got a long arm! I’m so grateful for this challenge though because it got me going on my strip twist and now I know how I want to finish it. Having all the blocks sewn was huge for me! Thanks for the challenge and have fun at your retreat! I hope you can share some pictures!
Last night I finished binding my Criss Cross Applesauce quilt that I sent a picture of last week. One more quilt off my UFO list!! thanks for the challenge. I have to piece some battings together for my next quilt. Trying to use up all the leftover pieces of battings from other quilts. Have a great retreat. Wish I could be there!!
I got all my pieces cut for my meet in the middle quilt. I was hoping to get it pieced but life happened. https://instagram.com/p/5vJi1rx7–/
