She’s Here!!!

As you all know, this weekend is our quilt retreat.  We’ve been busy planning and preparing for 2 years now and it’s finally here.  One of the coolest thing is seeing where everyone is from.  We have a ladies from Canada, Texas, Florida, California, Nebraska, and Iowa!

I’ve had a super busy week as I worked overnights 4 out of 5 days, took a telemetry test Monday after working a full overnight to come home and sleep for two hours and head out to a wake for Jason’s uncle.  We had the funeral on Tuesday and then I was trying to get things sorted out at home because I was going to be gone for 5 days.  I made a dent, but still had a lot to do on Wednesday.

When I got up Wednesday I needed to pack up a few things and finish cleaning out my car.  When I opened the door, Puppycat ran right out and jumped in the car because she thought she was going with too!  Isn’t she cute?

It about broke my heart when I had to take her in the house and put her in her kennel!

Once I got down to Oelwein I was happy to see Kayla too!  We grabbed Connie and headed out to a quick lunch which was followed by some not so quick shopping stops.

After hanging out for a bit and some sewing we headed off to pick up Bonnie!

Now who wouldn’t want to go on a little road trip with us?!!?!  We picked up Bonnie just after 9:00 and headed to a Dairy Queen and then finished our trip back to Oelwein. We’ve got a few busy days ahead of us, but we’re sure they’ll be tons of fun.
