My tomatoes are finally ripe and it’s fresh salsa season! Yum…Yum!
Sunday we had our first batch of fresh salsa and everyone was dipping chips like crazy. It’s funny that my children say they don’t like fresh tomatoes but they eat fresh salsa by the gallons.Â
I used my Kitchen Plus 2000 to dice the onions and green peppers…cut the tomatoes with a knife..added salt and minced garlic and the WONDERFULNESS began! This day I didn’t add cilantro but… I probably will in the next batch.Â
With the tomatoes finally ripening, I’ll soon be canning salsa too. Oh the wonderful tastes of summer!
