Great Good news! Our bridge is finished.
BUT
…the road is STILL closed! Now the county road crew is resurfacing our road. The pot holes were so deep that they held rainwater so Gracie, our dog, would frequently stop for a drink when we were on our morning walk.
They started construction a couple days ago..and since then…RAIN. So progress is S-L-O-W.
In our area, it’s impossible to drive anywhere without road constuction.
One great thing about winter in Iowa…no road construction.
