The other day I got an email from Charisma, one of our blog readers. Â She had made our Peaks and Valleys quilt and wanted to share her version with me…check it out.
Check out her quilting….WOW, right??? Â You can check out the quilt in it’s entirety over at Charisma’s blog.
Charisma is an awesome machine quilter…check this out.
Here is our version of Peaks and Valleys.
It was a fun quilt to make. Â It was also one of the last quilts that I machine quilted on my old machine.
If you are interested in the free pattern for Peaks and Valleys you can learn more about it here.
My kiddos. Â As I am writing this my son Karl was just here and helped me do a few things around the house. Â I love that guy!
All of the kids are on their own and paying their own bills (what more could a parent want, right??) Â For the most part, they have all learned to handle their own lives and that makes me happy. Â That doesn’t mean I don’t want to be part of their lives, it just means that it’s easier to move our relationship from a parent/child relationship to an adult friend relationship. Â I love that we have come that far.
Honestly, my best friends are Hubby, my kids and their spouses (Craig too). Â I have so much fun with all of them and appreciate the time we’ve had together. Â The best part..I think the kids like us too!!
Today I am thankful for my kiddos.
Ahhh… what a lovely feel good post!!
I also loved the eye candy…now that Charisma really knows how to quilt…WOW!!
I really like this quilt. Just what I need, another project!
This one is really gorgeous!
