Quilts In My Email Box….

I opened my email box the other day and there was a cheery email from Annie.  She had made my Hooting with the Stars quilt and was willing to share….

She used a fabric line, “Canning Day”, from Connecting Threads.  You can check out Annie’s blog here.   She has lots more photos of the quilt and you won’t want to miss the personal message she quilted into one of the dark squares.  I love it!!

I have made two versions of this quilt….the first one Gracie is showing off. It was made with Moda’s line “It’s a Hoot”.

The version I made before that was with “Basket of Flowers” which is a Moda line too.

If you would like to make your own you can find the pattern on Moda Bake Shop.  The quilt is quite easy and is perfect for a toddler finishing at 48″ square.

If anyone else has projects that they have made using one of my patterns from Moda Bake Shop, one of my AccuQuilt tutorials, or anything you were inspired to do or try after reading the blog send a note with pictures to my email box and I’ll try to feature you on the blog too.  Wouldn’t that be fun to have this as a weekly feature??

It’s real fun for me to open my email box and find something fun…thanks Annie.

For those of you who want to see some “Crumb Along” photos…head back to Tuesday’s post and check the Linky tool.  People are adding photos…It’s so fun to check them out!! Check Flickr too!

  1. I was looking at this pattern and considering my fabric stash. Looks if I had around 168 charms of 5×5, I could do it without buying a precut layer cake. Is that correct? I’m thinking a baby quilt for my pregnant niece. Thanks!
