Quilt Square Quilts Along…Part 1

It’s that time again, time for the Quilt Square Quilt Along Parade.  I am splitting this up into two post this month and see if that works better for some readers.  Several people still have dial up internet and the overload of pictures is hard for them.  This edition will show next months blocks and the prizes…Find the Parade of all of your blocks here.

Next month in honor of July 4th, you have your choice of star blocks….you can make this one that made with my scraps…..

or you can make this one.  For this one I used fabrics from Moda’s new line Independence Trail designed by Minick and Simpson.

Up for prizes this month are a great little pack of Patterns from Country Threads.  It’s some great patterns from their new “Chicken Feed” pattern line.  All the patterns ten of the patterns from the line are only $5 each…how can you beat that?!?!?

This one is my favorite of the bunch.

From Ackfeld Manufacturing we have a great quilt holder.  This one is the one that is the perfect size for our Quilt Square Quilt Along blocks.  I have this one and LOVE it!

From the great people over at Martingale and Company I have a copy of Lori Smith’s book, Fat-quarter Quilting: Twenty-one Terrific 16″ X 20″ Projects (That Patchwork Place).  I have this book and LOVE it!!

The cover quilt and this quilt are both on my to-do list.  I think I might do the applique with wool.

Thanks to all our wonderful sponsors….For the parade of your quilts, check the next post here.
