Quilt Square Quilt Along for July

Wow…did this month ever FLY by fast!!  I was scrambling right up until yesterday to get my blocks done and even then I didn’t finish…I have an idea of what they are going to look like though….

For August you can make your choice of whatever blocks are left…for me, that was the T-block and the applique block.  Some of you haven’t made one of the star blocks yet either so if that’s the block you want to make, feel free to choose that one.

In September we will be moving on to the next Quilt Square pattern.  It’s number 6 and you can find it here.  I’m just letting you know so that you can have it ordered and ready in time for September.  If you haven’t sewn with us yet and want to, September will be a great time to start!!

We have a great list of prizes up for grabs.

From Country Threads we have a kit to make their Pennsylvania Infant Throw which includes the kit and pattern.  If you want to see what it looks like finished, you can check it out here.  I am also putting in a copy of the Goat Gazette, Country Threads’ Newsletter.

From Ackfeld Manufacturing we have a great 12″ hanger…Perfect for all you Quilt Square Quilt Along projects.

From Martingale and Company we have a copy of Country Threads’ Back to Charm School book.  It’s a great one that I reviewed over on this blog post.  There is a copy of the Goat Gazette with this book too.

If you are wondering where the parade is…no worry.  It’s in another post that will be published soon.  I’ve found that breaking things up into two posts is helpful for those readers who are on dial up internet.

  2. The prizes are nice this month. Back to Charm School and Pennsylvania Infant Throw are my two favorites…and it is always fun to read the Goat Gazette. I share it with my friends whenever I get one. Sandi
