My son Karl is still home from college and still broke. Â The broke part is good for me because that means he is willing to work for money.
Some of his tasks include holding a quilt so I can snap pictures…
Other tasks include making a listing of my quilts from 2013, my feeding a farmer recipes or categorizing my blog posts adding photos from the blog to Pinterest.
Let’s just say that Karl likes to inject humor into anything possible and if I don’t keep a close eye on him, I am likely to be a little surprised. Â For example while posting recipes to Pinterest Karl doesn’t just pin them…he adds his own little flare.
After this recipe for Chicken Cordon Bleu Karl writes, “Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole: So fancy, we even misspelled ‘Blue’ on purpose! Enjoy!”.
”
Here’s another- Â Beef and Potato Nacho Casserole…“A Karl approved recipe: Beef and Potato Nacho casserole. Enjoy!”
and another….about my cinnamon rolls, “Jo’s son Karl may make the best chocolate cake, Roger may make the best Loaded Mashed Potatoes, and Kalissa may make the best brunch, but they all cower in the shadow of Jo’s Cinnamon Rolls. Enjoy!”
Sometimes I laugh and other times I just shake my head. Â I am just happy that some of the things are finally getting posted on Pinterest. Â If you want to see out Pinterest page, check it out by following this link.
I have to say I love hearing about your kids and Karl seem like a lot of Fun. I loved when he first posted for you earlier this week he made sure to add info about himself like an ad. Being only a couple of years out of college I really found this funny. I love how close your family is. Have a great New Year!!!!
Oh that is awesome!
Ok your son is fun, funny, and to cute. I love his little additions to your cooking, it makes them special. Happy New year to you and yours.
I could hire your son for some work on my blog too!! I need the same things done, or some sort of organization!
I’m enjoying Karl’s antics! I think he should be a part of the blog, too. I wish my sons would show an interest…but maybe that’ll happen when they are broke college students!
Karl sounds like a great son and I think his little anecdotes add pizzazz to the pins. Enjoy your time with him at home.
So I finally had a chance to read some of his descriptions in pinterest and his sense of humor is lol perfect. Good job Karl.
