Only Four Left….

I had an early morning today.  I was up at 3:30 am to make cinnamon rolls.  One of the teachers at school called and asked me to make 100 cinnamon rolls and she wanted to pick them up at 7:15 am.

I knead and rolled and baked and frosted.  I made 18 extra for our family and all that is left are four lonely rolls.

CinnamonRolls
Kalissa took four to college.  Hubby took four out to the farm workers.

So far, I’ve only had one….it’s so tempting though….Rather than saying “I think I can…I think I can” I am saying “I think I can’t…I think I can’t eat another one”!

If you are looking for my original ratio bread recipe that I use to make cinnamon rolls, you can find it here.

  1. Yummy! How lucky is that teacher to have a parent who get up at 3:20am and make 100 Cinnamon Rolls. Hats off to you for being so giving and thoughtful. Also, thank you for quilting so many quilts and sending them off for people needing quilty hugs.

  2. Hmmm, two rolls for breakfast and two more for lunch….those poor rolls would not have stood a beagle’s growl of a chance of surviving around this house!

  3. They look SO-SO -GOOD….I can almost taste them—I would have had one or two for supper tonight…one of my favorite things in the world to eat….you are so nice to make all those rolls for the school..What a treat for those kids…

  4. Ummm…an early morning around here starts around 6, maybe earlier if we really have to push it. I’m not sure what to call a morning that starts at 3:30! I hope you get to have a nap!
